Release 25.40 Status
Nortel Networks apologizes for the inconvenience and
confusion to our partners and customers caused by last
week's announcement
of the delay in market availability of Meridian 1 X.11
Release 25.40 software.
The X11 Release 25.40 project team has resolved the
issue that caused the delay to the planned release date
of February 11th. The specific issue centered around the
software download to a small percentage of currently
installed M3900 telephone sets and the update to Phase 3
features. This issue had the potential
for our Channel
Partners to incur maintenance costs and inconvenience
customers. The issue has
now been resolved, fully tested and X11 Release 25.40
software is now available for production release.
Nortel Networks will be begin accepting orders for
the Meridian 1 X11 Generic Release 25.40 software
Tuesday 19th February 7.00am Eastern Standard Time.
