First Choice and Diversified Communications Announce an Intent to Merge

CHANHASSEN, Nov. 1 – First Choice (Privately Held) and Diversified Communications (Privately Held) have entered into a preliminary agreement to merge their companies in order to deliver advanced communications solutions to businesses.

The companies have signed an agreement to merge their sales, service and financial infrastructures before the close of the fiscal year 2000.

The advanced solutions offered are integrated telephony and data networking. The products offered include solutions for integration of voice and data communications applications, asset management and management services.

Customers of both First Choice and Diversified benefit from this merger. The unique blending of traditional and non-traditional solutions to the integration of a business’ communications applications results in unusually high paybacks and levels of satisfaction.

This unique approach has been piloted with several large network customers over the last four years. During this time First Choice and Diversified operated under a partnership agreement.

Diversified Communications is a nine-year-old out-state Minnesota distributor of Nortel Networks equipment, specializing in small to medium size businesses in the hospitality and gaming industries. First Choice is a fourteen-year-old Nortel Networks Equipment Reseller with strengths in small to medium size businesses in the retail, finance and securities industries through out the country.
