14, 2001--Diversified Networks (Privately Held) announced the decision by
Grand Casino’s Hinckley and Mille Lacs to implement their proposed
solution for data networking and voice services between locations.
This solution includes redundant Voice Switches, eliminates the
needs for expensive routers and Hubs and utilizes voice applications
designed specifically for resort and hospitality environments.
The
Diversified Network’s solution includes Nortel Network’s Meridian
Option 81C’s, IP Networking using trunk side ITG cards, Optera Metro
5200’s, featuring Dense Wave Division Multiplexing, Call Pilot, Passport
8600’s, Business Policy Switches and InnOvation’s InnLine 2020
product. The
Diversified Networks solution preserves Grand Casino’s investments in
LAN’s while providing a platform for future network and voice services
growth. The
Grand Casino installations are being performed under the direction of
Diversified Networks. The
installations are scheduled for completion in the first half of 2002. Diversified
Networks provides networking solutions to resorts and casinos.
This brings Diversified Networks total of major resorts and/or
casinos in Northern Minnesota to a total of five.
